We are a group of dedicated people who understand not only magazine publishing, but also the field of historic architecture and period design. We've been at it for years! Editor-in-chief Patricia Poore is the former owner and long-time editor of Old-House Journal, whose tenure goes back to the 1970s brownstone revival. With publisher Bill O’Donnell, she launched Old-House Interiors in 1995. The Design Center Sourcebook was first published in 2002. Arts & Crafts Homes officially debuted in 2006.

Arts & Crafts Homes and the Revival is a newer publication that grew out of Old-House Interiors magazine. In 2005, OHI did a pilot issue about the Arts and Crafts Revival, which met with resounding success both in the numbers of copies sold through the newsstand and in advertiser response. We launched Arts & Crafts Homes as a separate quarterly, vowing to include contemporary practitioners of A&C as well as covering the historical antecedents of the continuing movement.

Our mission is to offer expert advice and perspective for those building, renovating, or furnishing a home in the Arts and Crafts spirit. Our mission is to celebrate the revival of quality and craftsmanship.
